Our Story

Not Your Average Taco Joint

Tacos Habaneros wasn't born from a business plan — it was born from a kitchen table, a family recipe, and the stubborn belief that Mexican food in Howard City should taste like it came from a abuela's hands, not a freezer bag.

We source our chiles from small farms, press our tortillas by hand every morning, and age our moles longer than most people spend deciding what to have for dinner. The habanero isn't a gimmick — it's our signature, and we mean it in every sense.

Whether you're grabbing lunch between appointments or settling in for a long evening of tacos and mezcal, we built this space for people who take food seriously but never take themselves too seriously.
